How to Motivate Dog Owners

OK, so today we were going to visit a highly unique place - in fact, I can almost guarantee that there is nowhere like it anywhere, except for possibly in China, where they may have made a replica 2/3s of the size.

However, as it is Friday, I am just going to show you the posters in the area where this place is located, and reveal the full details on Monday. Hint: I have mentioned it before, it is pretty cool but yet fun for all the family, and highly convenient.

As we have already seen here and here, the posters and signs in any given place can tell you something about it.

And here we find: a koala bear holding a bus timetable sign!

And also this sign, similar to the one we saw in Kyoto:

"Dog owner - please clear up the aftermath. The responsibility of the aftermath is the dog owner's responsibility." "Aftermath" is likely not a perfect translation, but I can't think of another word in English that is better.

Notice how the dog is embarrassed - this obviously puts great pressure on the dog owner to behave in a responsible way.

And here is another one:

"Pick up the aftermath of your beloved dog's POO with your very own hands"

Here, the beloved dog is holding a red rose in his teeth - presumably as a present for the dog owner for having done such a service for him. Now, leaving aside the fact that this is probably quite painful for beloved dog (given the thorns on a typical rose), and the question of how the dog came to be in possession of a rose, we can see that the main message is that your dog will thank you for having behaved in a responsible way.

So, what could this mysterious locale be? A place that is so concerned about dog poo it uses two different strategies to get dog owners to clear it up? A place that has Koalas showing the bus timetable?

Unfortunately, you will have to wait till Monday to find out.

And this is a little like the market. Sometimes there is nothing to do but wait.
