And that's just lunch.

As my preferred media provider would say: It gets purer the closer you get to the source.

Trump book

I LOVE MY HAIR!

So I read this book on a beach in Thailand. Trump wants you to know what a big swinging dick he is. The first chapter to the book gives you a "real" insight into his day to day activities - Trump is the kind of guy who loves picking up the phone and saying "ALAN! THE INTEREST RATE IS KILLING ME! WHY DONTCHA DO SOMINABOUDIT?"

He is also deserves a good deal of respect for making some big wonga. But, is this going to help you transform your battered investment portfolio into an embarrassment of riches, with mahogany toilet seats and marble everything else?

No.

Also, all-guns blazing is what led to his company's bankruptcy in the late 1980's (post this book's story).

Still, the story of how he turned the crappy Commodore Hotel into a cash machine is good. But then the way he tells the story makes the counterparties to his deals (buyers, sellers, banks, and government), all sound like gullible retards, which they probably aren't.

Bottom line:

A lot of his success has been balls plus luck.
